Minho felt movements in his side. He slowly opened his eyes. He smiled seeing the sleeping figure beside him. He missed this. The times when he and Key slept together, literally, and he would feel so happy when he woke up to find the other comfortably cuddled to him.

He reached for the boy’s face and brushed the hair blocking the beauty of his love. He carefully, not to wake up the boy, leaned to kiss him on his cheeks. The other made a cute groan putting a sweet smile on the taller one. He was about to wrap his arms on the other’s body when his phone rang.

“yeboseyo..?”

“Minho..where are you?..we need you here..Hara needs you..”

It was Hara’s mother.

“what happened?”

“she came back last night looking so scared and confused..she locked up there..we just thought you had a fight but when we check on her she’s just staring and crying..she’s not even telling us anything..please come home..”

He looked at the time on his phone..3am..It’s too early. It will be hard to find something to ride at this hour.

“I’ll be coming..” he put down his phone, got up and collected his clothes. After putting it on, he checked on Key. He was still sleeping. He leaned on him and peck a kiss on his lips.

“I’ll be back…” he whispered then left.

“Hara..honey..what’s happening..”the old man ask her daughter who was sprawled on the floor crying.

“I called him..he said he’s on his way..” the old lady knelt beside his daughter. “ stop it Hara..your husband is coming..”

Hara looked up at his mom and smiled as she wiped her tears. Her parents sighed with relief as they saw their daughter was back to normal. Five years ago, Hara was admitted to a rehabilitation center. The death of his baby caused her to act out of normal. She cried all the time. She refused to eat and even talk. She always had nightmares. That time became very difficult for her parents as well as to Minho. Her parents were glad that Minho never leaves Hara side at those times. He was always there to support her. And they knew that it was Minho that cured their daughter. After exactly 10 months, Hara was back to herself though she still under medication. The doctor advised her not to over think of the past. The doctor also advised not to leave her side. The lost of her baby made her act like this. She doesn’t need anyone to leave her again or make her feel that she’ll lose someone.

After two years, Minho graduated from college. It was this time when Minho decided to try his luck abroad but it only took him 3 weeks and he was forced to come back. Hara’s sickness was back after Minho left. She refused to eat and talk. She always cried calling out for Minho. So Minho decided to stay. After that, Minho never leaves her. After a year he married her. They are now living a two years of marriage. Hara, unfortunately, will never be pregnant again. The accident made her not capable of being pregnant. They warned her that it can happen again or even worst. Hara’s parents’ know that part of Minho’s decision of marrying their daughter was because of his condition. So they are so grateful of the lad. There are times that they could feel Minho’s longing for something but they just ignored it. They couldn’t blame the boy. He was forced to get married even though he wasn’t that ready. His plans was ruined and they are not even sure if he loves their daughter. So they ready their selves if time comes and Minho will choose to leave. They will not stop the boy. They’ll thank him for the years he gave up his life for their daughter.

Key’s POV

“I’ll be back…”

those words sounded so sweet. The voice was like a lullaby to my ears. I feel so happy so light..and …

I shot open my eyes. I sat up quickly as I explored the room with my eyes. A hotel..yes..i remember..Minho dragged me in here last night. As usual we argued, then I spilled out my feelings. Then..after trying myself to contain all the emotion I failed. I even failed to not give in to him. I scanned the room for his presence but none. I looked at window. I slowly walked towards it and opened the blinds. I squinted my eyes as morning light blinded me. I moved towards the bathroom..it’s empty. I looked back at the bed..no sign of him..am I dreaming..? did I came here alone last night?..no I’m not. I know everything that happened last night was real. The feeling of his kiss still lingers on my lips. The feel of his kisses are still all over my body. I could still feel the touch of his skin on mine. the pain and lust of last night still fresh in my mind.

I slowly walked to the bed and let myself collapsed on it. I could feel tears forming on my eyes. I closed it trying to stop these stupid tears. Why is this moment felt the same? Like a de javu …yes it feels the same..the pain when I woke up from a night of lust and love without the one who shared it with you..the feeling of being left alone..the feeling of being used..the feeling of disgust on yourself for giving in so easily…for letting him have his way on you..i tried to be strong..i tried to avoid it..but at the end he just proves me, all the time, that he’s stronger and I’m weak..that he got a hold on me and I couldn’t let go..that he owns me, body and soul…that he “only” needs me and I “deeply” love him..

I curled up like ball as I suppressed all this feeling. I feel so weak..i feel like I’m drowning..i can’t breathe..i feel cold..somebody help me..somebody...please… please..

“Good morning. Welcome to coffe’s haven” Jinki greeted with his cheerful voice the customers coming for their morning coffee.

“wow...you’re so alive..what happened yesterday..” the girl named Victoria came out of the kitchen with a freshly baked cookie in hand.

“huh?”

“cmon..you left me here alone yesterday because you chose to have fun with your friends rather to help your poor partner here in the café..”

“sorry..” Jinki bowed as he walked closer to the girl. He reached for the cookies in her hand and helped her put it on display.

“so did you enjoyed..i bet you did..”Jinki looked at her confusion in his face. “cmon I see you yesterday..the pretty boy with a very good fashion sense..the feline eyes and feminie features..i saw how you admired him..”

“what are you talking about..?..he’s pretty but I’m not..”

“c’mon Jinki..i know you so much..don’t forget I’m your friend for six years..i know you from head to toe..i know everything..i know when you like someone..i even remember the persons you fell in love with”

“really..”

“of course..it is so easy.. you made the job easier for me as a friend..you only fell in love once Jinki making me remember only one person..” Jinki looked at him and his lively face fades away.

“Fate really is so amazing right..especially when it comes to love..so magical…it had its own way on making love more interesting..and for you Jinki..Fate really works on you..Fate definitely loves you…It gives you another chance for your unfinished love story..so lucky that it brings him back to you..so if I were you grab this chance..don’t make the same mistake of letting the opportunity fly away or be taken again by someone..take him..he’s so totally yours..Fate says so…” she ended it with a wink and started collecting the orders of their customers. Jinki was left behind counters still processing the words.

“Fate..brings you back to me..chance..” he whispered to himself as a pure smile formed on his lips.

Fate truly works on him…

“here you can seat down here..” Jinki guided the couple to their seat. “what can I do for you?”

“uhmm well..my boyfriend here really loves your cakes so..we’re hoping you can bake one for our wedding..”

“wedding..?” Jinki looked at the couple in front of him. From the looks of these two, you can’t stop staring at them. The boy who just spoke looks so stunning. He got a black clean cut hair. He’s wearing a rolled up long sleeves checkered polo and black denim tight pants. He got a nice strong jaw and his voice is so masculine. On the other hand , his companion, he referred as his boyfriend, is extremely the opposite. He is feminine in all aspects. His hair is long and ponytailed. His eyes are big and lips are full. His body is fit to be called as not yet developed teenage girl body. His smile is beautiful and he looks so young.

“excuse me..sir..” the masculine boy called his attention made him snapped out of his thoughts. “if you have something against us..with us being a couple..we understand..we can just leave..” the boy was about to stand when Jinki fully understand the situation.

“no..no I’m not…”

“well we thought you are..with you staring at us like examining us is kind of rude..”

“I’m sorry..it’s just..well it’s embarrassing but I’m stunned with your looks..you both look stunning..”

The younger looking boy blush with Jinki’s compliment making the other cough as he looked at Jinki with raising brows.

“oh no..i didn’t mean that way..i just find you both suit each other..you look beautiful as a couple..and I would love to make a cake for your wedding..oh..and congratulations..do you want choose It now..”

“yes..we would like to choose now..and thank you..”

“ok..i’ll just prepare some samples ok..seat back and relax..” Jinki bowed then left for the kitchen.

“He’s kinda cute..”

“yah..we’re getting married and yet you are liking someone..”

“I just said he’s cute..not I like him..” The boy pouted for the misunderstanding of his boyfriend.

“well..describing another boy cute is forbidden..until our are wedding..”

“your childish..”

“yes I am..that’s why you love me…” the older boy smiled as he wrapped his arms on his lover.

“yah..Kim jonghyun..we’re in public..”

“I don’t care Tae..remember I proposed in public..i don’t care about them..”

“I love you…” the smaller said as he pecked a kiss on the older boy’s cheek.

“I love you too..” he then returned the kiss but this time on the other’s thin lips.

“mmmm..you’re right Tae..cakes here are delicious..not too sweet..not too bland..just perfect..” Jonghyun said as he tasted his fourth cake.

“we need to choose one only Jong..” Tae said as he handed a napkin to his lover.

“thanks..uhmm you bake this all…”

“yes..with the help of my partner..” jinki answered.

“oh you’re married..” taemin asked.

“uhmm no..i mean business partner..” Jinki’s action made the couple giggled.

“so you have a girlfriend?” Tae asked out of curiosity.

“none..”

“a boyfriend I guess..?..you like boys too”

“Jonghyun..!” Tae hit his husband to be for the candid question as he noticed the other boy blushed.

“what?..i’m just asking..he can say no…I’m just curious since he’s not against with our relationship maybe he’s into this also..”

“or maybe not..maybe he’s jut open minded..”

“actually I am..” the couple looked at him.

“you are what..” Tae looked at him with curiosity.

“like boys..”

“you see I’m right..” Jonghyun clapped his hands for his winning over the smaller boy.

“really..so you have a boyfriend..?” Taemin asked as he leaned on showing interest on the subject.

“honestly I never had a boyfriend nor a girlfriend..”

“what..Impossible..your good looking..and seemed so kind and gentle..i can’t believe no one falls in your charms..”

“yah Lee taemin..your boyfriend is here..and he can hear everything..” Jonghyun whined as Taemin describe Jinki as good looking and with charms.

“really hyung..you never had..” Jinki nodded to Taemin who just ignored his boyfriend.

“No way..why?”

“maybe because he’s too serious in life that he doesn’t’ have the mood for games in love..serious that he will not be interested on someone he won’t be serious with..he’s not interested in short term love..he’s serious that he’ll only like and love someone he could be with forever..” Jonghyun, being ignored by his boyfriend, butted in answering the question for Jinki.

“yah Jong it’s Jinki’s answer I want to hear not your own opinion..”

“actually he’s right..perfectly right..” Jinki grinned as he agreed on the other’s words.

“see..i know I’m good at reading people..”

“ok..ok..you’re the best..” taemin rolled his eyes as his boyfriend brag about his greatness. “but hyung honestly..you need to find someone to love..life’s too short to be wasted in waiting the perfect one..if you like we can set you up with our friends we know some that will be interested on you..

“well I appreciate you wanted to help but..actually..”

“not working Tae..thi s guy already and definitely like someone...”

“Jonghyun..” Taemin was about to hit again his lover for answering questions that is obviously not for him when he was stop bu Jinki’s reply.

“ actually he’s right..i already like someone..no..i love someone..” then his bright smile disappeared as it was replaced by a sad smile. The couple felt the sudden change of mood and decided to busy themselves with the cakes. Taemin took glances on the boy who was now staring outside.

“so have you chosen your cake..?” Taemin was surprised when his eyes was caught by the older boy.

“uhmmm..all of these are delicious..we can’t decide..” Taemin’s quick answer. “you have any advise..”

Jinki looked at the cakes in front of him. He was always a fan of sweets that’s why he decided to open a shop that sells sweet pastries and breads. But he got a different reason for putting coffee in his store. He very different reason.

“uhmm..wait here I’ll get something from the kitchen..” Jinki came back after 5 minutes. He sat down and landed a plate of very sweet looking cake.

“i think this is best for your wedding cake..it’s my specialty..” Jinki smiled as he pushed the cake towards the couple.

Jonghyun , with quick hands, grabbed the fork and tasted the cake first.

“what does it taste like…?” Taemin asked his lover when saw him staring the cake. “Jonghyun..” being an impatient young boy, Taemin averted his attention to Jinki after getting nothing from his lover. Jinki who could read the curiosity in taemin spoke even before the young boy asked.

“it’s a chocolate cake..” Jinki said giving him a sweet smile.

“it’s sweet..” Jonghyun finally spoke after some minutes of just staring at the cake.

“that’s all..after staring at it like it’s kind of..” Taemin was cut when Jonghyun spoke again.

“different..something’s different in this cake..” Jonghyun looked at Jinki who is smiling making his eyes disappear into thin line.

“it’s made out of love..”

“yah..Jong..you’re quiet huh?..what happened to you..” Taemin asked his husband to be. They agreed on the chocolate cakefor their wedding and told Jinki the wedding date. “it’s about cake..”

“you know Tae..that cake is so different..”

“what different..?”

“I can’t explain..but when I tasted it..there’s a rush inside of me..and I felt it..”

“feel what?”

“the feeling I have when I first saw you…” Jonghyun looked at his boyfriend making the other blushed. Taemin looked away but a smile on his lips. It is truly a cake made out of love…

“that couple looks good right..” Jinki was interrupted from his thought as he heard a girly voice behind him.

“Vic…will you stop scaring me with your sudden appearance..one of these days I’ll die with heart attack..”

“sorry..so you booked an order?” Victoria sat down across her.

“yes..for their wedding.”

“aww..so sweet..but wait how..” Victoria was confused. She knows and the whole Korea knows that same sex marriage is not yet fully accepted.

“they’re wedding here is not legal..it is like a play-wedding..but they have plans of flying abroad to get married legally..” Jinki explained to her the way the couple explained it to him.

“oh…really so sweet..i wish I can find someone like them..” Victoria cupped his face as she leaned on the table her eyes looking up like she’s daydreaming.

Jinki chuckled as he stood up and made his way on the counter. There are no customer in the store since it’s high noon. It’s lunch time and no one gets coffee at times like this when the sun is shining hot. Jinki grabbed a towel and started wiping the glass display.

“so what are your plans..?”

Jinki looked at the young girl sitting comfortably on the chair in front of the counter.

“what plans..?”

“with your love life..” Victoria rolled her eyes as Jinki shot him a confused look.

“I don’t have plans..”

“so you will just observed him from afar again..c’mon Jinki..i’m tired of watching that scene of yours..would you please give me another scene of you little romance movie story..” with this Victoria stood up patted the boy on his shoulder and left the store. “I’ll be eating with Luna for lunch..i’ll be back soon..ok..”

Be watching him afar..again Jinki thought of these words from Victoria. Will he be watching him again, like before? Watch him, admire him from afar until he disappeared from your sight. He was gone without even knowing your existence. Now he’s given another chance and he’s taking it. he’s not gonna watch and admire from afar again. He will make his way to him. this time..is his time..
